Dickenson county's premiere multi-weapon shooting range

Sharpen your shotgun skills with skeet, trap, clay and paper targets.

Rifle practice options include range distances up to 200 yards.

Take aim at 3D targets from spring to late fall or practice on paper targets from 20 to 50 yards.

During winter months, try indoor practice at our Headquarters in Coeburn, VA and compete in weekly 3D and spot tournaments.

No, you may purchase a day pass, but the membership has benefits for those who wish to utilize the range past one day.
Are beginners allowed? Plus

Yes, shooters of all skill levels are encouraged to practice at Dixon Range. This is how you get better!

Yes, you need your permit and photo ID at all times at Dixon Range.
Can I bring my child to the range? Plus

Yes, but all children under 18 must be accompanied at all times by their guardian or parent while at the range.

We do! We host many events throughout the year, including indoor archery events during the winter at our Spearhead Trails® Headquarters location in Coeburn, VA.

Yes, all users are required to check in at the front desk upon arrival.

what does it cost to use the range? Plus

Annual memberships are $60. Day passes are $10. Users are then charged based on their usage of traps, clays and targets. Information on these costs is available at the front desk.

We do have some ammo for sale at the range.
