Trailhead Resort offers the perfect homebase for your mountain adventure. Our on-site Polaris UTV rental service and close proximity to awesome trail systems means you spend more time riding the ridges and exploring remote trails that are as scenic as they are rugged.

Get direct access to the Original Pocahontas Trail or take a quick drive down ATV-friendly roads to the trailhead of the Hatfield-McCoy Pocahontas Trail. For an on-road adventure, rent one of our street-legal Polaris Slingshots and head down to Back of the Dragon. No matter which trail you choose, you’ll have an unforgettable experience.

Mountain View Trail offers 100 miles of mountain trails which connect our ATV friendly town of St Paul, VA to Coeburn, VA. Part of Spearhead Trails, Mountain View Trail is the Premiere OHV Trail System. This system has a nice mix of green, blue, and black trails, great views, and fun for all!At Western Front Hotel, we are an authorized Polaris ATV Rental Center with brand new ATV’s waiting to get down and get dirty! Levisa Adventures is a kayaking & tubing rental service that operates on the Levisa Fork River (Grundy, VA), the Russell Fork River (Haysi, VA), and the Pound River (Clintwood, VA). They offer guided & self-guided kayaking adventures, as well as self-guided tubing excursions.

Conveniently located on main street in Haysi, Va for easy access to Haysi’s Ridgeview Trail, connecting Coal Canyon Trail, and Breaks Interstate Park, for over 200 miles of trail riding! We offer ATV Rentals and ATV retrieval services.
